The Krakow Water Tram

If you want to rent a boat in Krakow- you’ve got plenty of options. Just walk along the Vistula River and find a captain. But- if you want to catch a ride on the cheapest boat- the Krakow Water Tram is your best option! Plus, who doesn’t like to say they used the river’s public transportation method while on holiday?

How does the Krakow River Tram Work?

Everyday from the beginning of May to the end of September- you can hop on the River Tram in Krakow for a flat fee of 21zł. There are stops along the river between Galeria Kazimierz and Salwator. So it would be a perfect way to travel from the Jewish Quarter to the Kosciuszko Mound. There are additional tickets available to go by Water Tram to Tyniec as well. You can check the schedule on their website.

The coolest part of the Water Tram in Krakow is that you get to go under so many different bridges! It offers a really cool perspective of the city most don’t get to experience.
