The Puking Dragons of Krakow

If you look closely at many buildings in Krakow- you may notice a small detail calling back to the dragon of Krakow’s past- gutters! These beautifully created dragon gutters in Krakow, have a bit of a nickname when heavy rains start pouring on the city– Puking Dragons!

As the heavy rain pours down, look for dragon shaped gutters at Wawel Cathedral, Courtyard, and Castle- or head over to Jagiellonian University’s Collegium Maius courtyard as well. The harder it’s raining- the more it looks like they are puking!

Of course, if puking dragons aren’t your thing, look for the sculpture in Krakow that actually breathes fire instead!
